Stephanie is an associate attorney at Bowie & Jensen in their commercial litigation sector. As a first generation college and law school graduate, Stephanie constantly demonstrates self-motivation, a strong work ethic, and a deep dedication to serving clients. She enjoys the complexities of corporate law and values the opportunity to support businesses in navigating those complexities.

Prior to her work at Bowie & Jensen, Stephanie was the Placement Director in the Appointments Office of Maryland Governor Lawrence J. Hogan, Jr. In this position, she interviewed hundreds of candidates and made recommendations to the Governor for gubernatorial appointment to boards and commissions, as well as executive-level job appointments throughout the Executive Branch. In 2018, she assisted the Governor’s Re-Election Campaign to ensure election integrity. Through the Governor’s leadership, Stephanie learned the value of exceptional customer service, an element integral to her legal approach today.

Previously, Stephanie clerked for the Honorable Joseph M. Getty at the Court of Appeals of Maryland, where she refined her research and writing skills, as well as her knowledge of Maryland laws and procedure. She also served as a Legal Fellow in the Office of General Counsel for the District of Columbia Public Charter School Board, where she advised the general counsel and staff on a variety of legal issues and assisted with the negotiations for new charter school contracts.

While in law school, Stephanie was a Student Teacher for Georgetown’s Street Law High School Clinic, where she taught an array of legal topics to D.C. public school students and prepared them for the annual citywide mock trial competition. She was also a member of the Georgetown Journal of Gender and the Law and published an article about Employment Discrimination against LGBT Persons.

Stephanie is an active participant in the Young Lawyers’ Division of the Bar Association of Baltimore City and a member of the Maryland State Bar Association.
