Bowie & Jensen LLC is pleased to announce that Patrick R. Buckler has joined the firm as a partner in the litigation department. Mr. Buckler’s practice focuses in the area of business litigation.
Mr. Buckler brings more than 15 years of experience to the firm. He has represented businesses, governmental entities and individuals in an array of cases involving claims of securities fraud, consumer fraud, product liability, premises liability, employment discrimination, breach of fiduciary duty, “down-zoning”, condemnation, police misconduct and wrongful death.
“We are very pleased to have Pat join our practice. We were opposite Pat in a large commercial litigation matter a few years ago and decided that we wanted him on our side. Prior to joining Bowie & Jensen, Mr. Buckler worked for the international law firm of McGuireWoods LLP where he practiced in the areas of commercial, business and securities litigation. In 2007, he left McGuireWoods LLP to start a private practice in Towson, Md.
“I have the utmost respect for Bowie & Jensen, which is known for its excellent legal work and client service,” Buckler said. “I look forward to contributing in every way I can.”
Mr. Buckler graduated from the University of Maryland Baltimore County in 1996 with a B.A. in Political Science and received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1999.
