- The Uniform Certification Application for both the State of Maryland and Federal Government can be found at the following website. If possible, an applicant should apply to both the State and Federal certifications simultaneously.
- Maryland MBE and DBEs are certified by the North American Industry Classification System (“NAICS”) and each applicant should be familiar with the NAICS Codes that may apply to their business. The codes can be found at: http://www.census.gov/naics
