Bowie & Jensen Successfully Represents In-N-Out Burger
An Aberdeen restaurant will change its logo under a tentative settlement with In-N-Out Burger, the California restaurant chain that was suing it for trademark infringement in federal court in Baltimore. Bowie & Jensen partner Josh Glikin represented In-N-Out Burger in the suit. While In-N-Out does not have a physical presence in Maryland, the company maintains a store front presence via the internet.
Bowie & Jensen brought suit against Grab-N-Go burgers last year seeking a permanent injunction and damages. The confidential settlement is contingent on In-N-Out’s approval of Grab-N-Go’s new logo, as well as the execution of a written agreement.
