01.04.2010 - Six Bowie & Jensen, LLC attorneys were recently recognized in Baltimore Magazine’s “Super Lawyers” for 2010. Robert R. Bowie, Jr. and Matthew G. Hjortsberg were listed as “Super Lawyers” in the area of Business Litigation while Michael Oliver was recognized in the area of intellectual property. Michael Siri was named a “Maryland Rising Star” in business litigation, Kimberly Grimsley in intellectual property and J. Nicole Windsor in employment and labor law. Congratulations to all.

On December 18th, Joshua A. Glikin was elected as 2nd Vice President of the The Greater Towson Council of Community Associations (GTCCA), which is a nonprofit umbrella organization representing the interests and concerns of more than thirty community associations in the Greater Towson area. The GTCCA is organized for the purpose of education, assistance in development, and as a means of presenting a united front on common issues or problems either too large or too complex to be handled effectively by individual community associations.

J. Nicole Windsor and Matthew G. Hjortsberg successfully reversed an adverse determination of a contractor’s MBE status. Significantly, they achieved this reversal in sufficient time for the contractor to bid a substantial contract that it was ultimately awarded.

Bowie, Jr. were interviewed by WMAR TV2 for their legal assessment of the verdict in the trial of Baltimore’s Mayor and its effect on the Mayor’s ability to maintain her position in office.
